Orbis Software Release File Management Tool for its BPM Suite

Tuesday 4th of May 2010

Orbis Software today announced the addition of a sophisticated File Management Tool to its Business Process Management (BPM) Suite. The Tool is the first of the new specialised File Management and Integration BPM Tools that will be released by Orbis Software for Small-to-Medium Sized Businesses (SMBs).

Paul Garratt, Product Manager for Orbis Software commented on this release, “The release of this Tool will provide SMBs with a powerful method in which address common file management challenges which in many cases will remove the need for the deployment of a high-end document workflow solution.”

“The File Management Tool represents the first of the new dedicated BPM Tools designed to assist Network Managers, System Integrators and Business Process owners in their day-to-day file management activities.”

Matthew Lidster, Sales Director for Orbis Software added, “Due to the increasing levels of regulatory guidance and compliance procedures, SMBs now have a number of File Management requirements that require attention but when viewed in isolation do not justify the deployment of a Document Workflow solution.”

“The File Management Tool and subsequent Tools that are due for release shortly will be targeted at growing businesses that are under pressure to better manage, protect and process business critical files.

The announcement is seen by industrial analysts as another example of Orbis Software’s ongoing commitment to delivering enterprise level BPM technology to the SMB area.
