SalesLogix gets BPM integration Tools

Orbis Software has announced its release of a Database Query (OLEDB) Tool and set of XML Integration Tools for the powerful CRM solution, SalesLogix.
The announcement coincides with the company’s release of the TaskCentre v4.5 Business Process Management (BPM) Suite, which features next generation workflow capabilities.

Database Query (OLEDB)
The new TaskCentre Database Query (OLEDB) Tool was developed to provide organisations using SalesLogix and the TaskCentre Business Process Management (BPM) Suite with database query capabilities above that of the database query (ODBC) tool already available within the product. The technical benefits of the new Database Query (OLEDB) Tool cited by Orbis Software include:

● OLEDB supports all forms of data stores (relational, hierarchal etc).
● Unlike ODBC which is reliant on SQL to access data, OLEDB can access data through a number of methods.
● OLEDB is a richer more flexible interface for data access.

Jeremy Bucknell, Technical Director for Orbis Software highlighted the importance of this Tool.He said, “The Saleslogix VAR community has been calling for this capability for some time and, through collaboration with a number of key international Saleslogix VARs, we have delivered a very strong technical proposition to the community.”

SalesLogix Integration Tools
To support its commitment to delivering next generation workflow and integration capabilities to the SalesLogix community, Orbis Software has announced the availability of a dedicated Saleslogix Connector Tool that can read and write data from and to SalesLogix using the Saleslogix OLEDB provider.

By providing this SalesLogix Connector Tool and two other specific XML Tools TaskCentre significantly extends the capabilities of the popular CRM application, SalesLogix.
Over the last two years Orbis Software has seen a global adoption of its Business Process Management (BPM) Suite, TaskCentre, within the SalesLogix community and the release of TaskCentre v4.5 and its new Tools is set to further enhance Orbis Software’s relationship with SalesLogix channel partners and customers.
