Orbis TaskCentre launches in German

With more than 3000 organisations in 15 countries already using Orbis products, the demand for a German version of Orbis TaskCentre has now been realised with the impending installations of several German sites.

“The German language product is truly compelling” said Philip Smith Managing Director for Orbis Software. He continued by saying, “I have seen a host of products that claim to present a multilingual interface but when you actually take a closer look, they often fall way short of their claims, by leaving many elements in English, for example. We have invested considerable time and resources into ensuring that our translated version is comprehensive.”

Jeremy Bucknell, Technical Director of Orbis Software Ltd, said “The architecture of the TaskCentre product is truly multilingual. He continued, “Quality is always paramount, so one of the challenges was to create an effective toolset to help us produce and maintain the translation material. I have to say that I’m delighted with the outcome and we look forward to the feedback from our new customers.”

The German language version of Orbis TaskCentre is due to be officially released on May 1st 2004.
