Orbis TaskCentre V3 released July 21st 2003

The next generation offering from Orbis Software was released on July 21st, 2003. Orbis TaskCentre from Orbis Software Ltd, represents an authoritative application architecture in transforming manual business processes into automated procedures and dynamic tasks.

The new suite of products are licensed in four individual offerings, with a small business edition (SBE) starting at just £950 through to the Enterprise addition at £6950. The product presents a clear and straightforward capability in creating either simple or highly complex business processes. Within Orbis TaskCentre each business process is represented as a 'Task' whilst each individual process step within a 'Task' is provided by way of 'Actions' There are a host of 'Actions', which are intelligently grouped into four available categories, presented as Input, Format, Output and Execute. There are 12 Actions released with the initial product, followed shortly after with a number of further Actions providing further flexibility and integration with new and existing technologies.

Orbis TaskCentre provides a totally new suite of automation and alerting tools for organisations of any size, providing seamless integration into an organisations data infrastructure. Philip Smith, Managing Director of Orbis Software said, "Our new incarnation provides our partners with a unique and dramatically improved framework in which to deliver automation and alerting functionality into existing client systems.
