An enthusiastic, versatile individual is required to join an established team providing a range of Technical Support services around the exceptional TaskCentre Business Process Management suite. The role will encompass involvement in all aspects of technical Support as well as other related duties as required.
You will be required to relocate to Poole, Dorset, UK for an initial 3 month training programme. The company will cover any housing and travel costs during this period.
Essential
- A degree level qualification in an IT focused subject
- A demonstrable appreciation for core operational business processes
- A good knowledge of current Windows desktop operating systems including
Windows XP and Windows Vista
- A strong working knowledge and understanding of the concepts of relational
database management systems
- A good working knowledge of SQL
- Rudimentary Networking knowledge
Desired
- Knowledge of server platforms such Windows Server
- Knowledge of scripting languages especially VB Script
- Configuring and using database access using OLDEDB and/or ODBC
- Basic .NET programming skills in C# or VB.NET
Advantage
- Familiarity with any of FTP, Fax, SMTP, Mail Servers such as MS Exchange,
Lotus Notes, Groupwise, General SMTP principles, Active directory, IIS,
MS SQL Server, Oracle
- Knowledge of virtualization environments such as ESX Server
- Knowledge or Unix and/or Linux
